PM is strongest voice of the Ummah in highlighting Kashmir issue, Islamophobia: Qadri
Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Dr Noor-ul-Haq Qadri says Prime Minister Imran Khan is the strongest voice of the Ummah in highlighting Kashmir issue and Islamophobia.
Addressing the Ulema and Mashaikh Convention of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Islamabad today (Monday), he said Imran Khan’s vision of reforms in Pakistan to put the country on the principals of Ryasat-e-Madina has attracted the religious class in particular.
He said that the enthusiastic people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have decided that they will support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in general elections being held on 25th of this month.
Later the convention has passed a resolution in which participants acknowledged the efforts made by the Prime Minister for Kashmir Cause on international forums including United Nations as ambassador of Kashmiris.
The resolution said the convention strongly supports the stance of Imran Khan on Islamophobia, due to this strong position, OIC has unanimously adopted resolution tabled by Pakistan.
It said that the convention also acknowledges and expresses satisfaction over the achievements at economic front.
