6 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh;

8 patients cured and discharged 

Leh, Jul 18: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of six new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, five in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2292 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1265 and Kargil: 1027 were found negative.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged eight patients yesterday, three in Leh and five in Kargil.  With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 103; 81 in Leh and 22 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 2402 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 178 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post and 580 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
