Complete shutdown to be observed on occasion of Kashmir Martyrs Day on Tuesday

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed on the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs Day on Tuesday.

Call for the strike has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in remembrance of the 1931 martyrs.

A march towards the Martyrs’ Graveyard at Naqashband Sahib in Srinagar will be held on Tuesday where the martyrs of 13th July were buried.

Meanwhile, Indian forces carried out multiple cordon and search operations in Shopian district.

The infamous Indian National Investigation Agency assisted by the Intelligence Bureau, RAW and police arrested many people during raids at Darul Uloom ‘Sirajul Uloom’ in Srinagar and in Pushroo, Sunsooma and Achabal areas in south Kashmir.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement visited Pulwama and paid tributes to martyrs Inayat Ahmed and Kifayat Hussain.

Meanwhile, the PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has denounced the dismissal of eleven government employees on flimsy grounds saying that India continues disempowering the Kashmiri people in the garb of pseudo nationalism.

The bodies of three Muslim boys with torture marks were found in Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, India. They were missing since Tuesday. The families said the boys were beaten to death and were thrown into the river.
