Rana Daggubati congratulated his cousin Naga Chaitanya on making his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. On July 9, Naga Chaitanya took to social media to announce that he has started shooting for his upcoming film with Aamir Khan. He shared a selfie that he took with Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and director Advait Chandan in Ladakh.

Naga Chaitanya began shooting for his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an adaptation of Tom Hanks’s Forrest Gump. The shooting is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Ladakh. Aamir and Naga Chaitanya are playing friends from the Army in the film.
Rana Daggubati, who is Naga Chaitanya’s cousin, took to Instagram stories to congratulate the latter. He wrote, “My bawa bolly!! So cool congratulations bro!!! (sic).”

ABOUT LAAL SINGH CHADDHA
Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh as part of the cast. The film is jointly produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom 18 Studios and Paramount Pictures. The Hollywood film is based on Winston Groom’s novel of the same name.
Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the theatres on Christmas 2021. The film was supposed to release much earlier. Due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the film could not be completed soon.
