Celebrating art and artisans

On Friday, to mark Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha`s 41st wedding anniversary, children, Luv, Kussh and Sonakshi, had a special gift for them. The

She often shares her artworks on social media. Last year, the actor had auctioned some of them to help daily wage workers hit hard by the pandemic. Says Kush, “Without the beauty of art, the world would be a blank canvas, devoid of creativity. We want to support emerging artists, and create a global platform for them to showcase their work.”

On the trail

After winning accolades for playing Balram Halwai in The White Tiger, Adarsh Gourav returns to the scene with the second season of Hostel Daze. Ahsaas Channa, Ayushi Gupta, Luv Vispute, Nikhil Vijay and Shubham Gaur feature in key roles alongside Gourav. “End-semester mein toh lag gayi, but nothing can stop us from coming back to the hostel,” wrote Gourav while announcing the new season.

Cop again

Jimmy Shergill has played a cop in at least a dozen films. He still gets plenty of offers to be in uniform, picking and choosing the roles, which can be portrayed in a different light. Dnyanesh Zoting`s film, Collar Bone, which drops on Disney+Hotstar sees him back as a policeman. “It is the first project I shot post the pandemic so it has been a special experience for me,” says Shergill.

Furry love

Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying the company of canines on the set of Vikas Bahl`s Goodbye. “My new companion on set… cozy and comfortable in my arms,” posted Big B. The veteran superstar was keen to take the furball to Jalsa but could not. “I almost wanted to defy the family decision not to get any more pets because they die. I wanted to bring her home to convince her presence but then domestic protocols need attention,” added Bachchan. Last month, when he began shooting for the film, he shared a picture with another pooch, who he referred to as ‘co-star`.  Looks like the canines are part of the film.

Sunny`s 100 mark pedal

Sunny Leone took to Instagram to share her latest style quotient. She posted a  picture with a bicycle and wrote, “When it`s finally crossed 100… you gotta take care of your health. Cycling is the new glam,” she wrote. The actor is a cycling enthusiast but the escalating petrol and diesel prices have made Leone see the funny side of it. Will the new petroleum minister Hardeep Singh Puri take note of her post?
