COVID: ‘Recovery rate improving since May 3, stands at 96%’

New Delhi, June 18 (ANI): Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal in a media briefing on COVID situation in the nation on June 18 said that India is witnessing an increase in the recovery rate since May 3 which now stands at 96%. Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwalsaid, “We’ve been witnessing an increase in the recovery rate since May 3, which now stands at 96%. We are seeing a downward trend in active cases. Between June 11-17, the overall positivity case was less than 5% in 513 districts. India reported 7,98,656 cases in the last 24 hours. The cases have been decreased. We are getting a positive growth.”
